About Us

Advanced Power Solutions (APS) was founded in 1982 with the goal of providing quality power products at the best possible price. APS is conveniently located in Pleasanton, California, in the heart of the San Francisco East bay area. In 1990, APS merged with a major supplier of high quality power supplies based in Taiwan allowing for Sales, Design and Manufacturing support on two continents.

APS offers many types power supply products including Open Frame, Industrial, Medical and External (Wallmount & Desktop) products in both switching and linear topologies. With US and Taiwanese design and manufacturing teams, APS offers local engineering support combined with Far East manufacturing to its U.S. customers. All APS's Far East facilities are ISO9002 and BABT approved.

The management team of APS offers over fifty years of related industry experience in general management, engineering, sales, marketing, procurement and finance. We are staffed by individuals having accredited degrees in both mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as doctorate degrees in business management.
